We were only there for the Sunday, good day and an impressive sight seeing all the LRs there. The test track was 6km long, we were 6th in line in the convoy and at times were only a few yards from the tail end charlie. Not sure if we actually got the record or not as there were some big holes appeared at times, although it was only one point it counted at so just need to wait and see.

Had to hire a Disco 4 to go down in as my D3 is still away on its holidays at present, what a car, must start saving! If you ever need to hire a Land Rover then 4x4 Hire (Scotland) are well worth a go.

The Heritage Motor centre is worth a visit if you ever go down that way, loads of cars that you will remember from when you were a kid (cortinas were good weren't they  ???) and quite a few famous ones as well from various movies (judge dredd, Quantum of Solace, Thunderbirds to name but a few)
