MINI COMPS EXPLAINED

SLROC are proud to announce our mini comps, the main aim of this event is to give you all the fun of a speed event without (hopefully) damage to your land rover. We are aiming for laps of 4-5mins our aim is to set a course where driver ability will be of an advantive rather than the land rovers ability. We are anticipating an entry fee of £30-£35, a stardard CCV spec land rover only needs front and rear mud flaps, window nets and cill bars if not already fitted.

We look forward to your support at this event and it is the perfect chance to dust off your old racer or give your new racer its first outing  ;)

Hi, does this mean a CCV vehicle with lap and diagonal seat belts can participate, also do you need a crash helmet.

Hi Ross
No you need a full harness and an approved crash helmet and an msa race license  and also a exsternal battery /engine kill switch fire extinguisher and spill kit and ok boards
Johnny have I missed anything?

Thanks Dougie

So this is no where near a "standard spec CCV motor".

Might be an idea to list all the changes required to motor, and driver, so people with "standard CCV" motors know what to expect.

Thanks
Ross

Just to clarify, you need an MSA "Non Race" Clubmans (or above) licence for the driver and club card for the navigator (Blue book P24.2.1)

May we assume that if only the driver is present in the vehicle then a window net is only required on the side of the driver? If a door top is fitted is a window net still required?

If you have side windows you will not need nets
