GRR 7th Dec - MOD Driver Training area, Garelochhead

All, I'm please to be able to say that we've got permission to use the MOD Driver training area at Garelochhead again on 7th December. More details to follow but start planning for a 10am start just north of Helensburgh and the opportunity to use the "Bosnian Road" Driver Training area. Great views across the hills and Lochs, not a bad view of the submarines at Faslane too !

Look like this mite be the first GRR that I will get to, can you pay on the day and also pay club membership at the same time??

The Range Warden rang today, the Army unit due to be on the area have cancelled, so we have the place to ourselves for the day.

The meeting point for next Sundays GRR

10am at the point below. Its at the western end of the A817 above Garelochhead ( North of Helensburgh)   £10 per vehicle, At least 1 member per vehicle, bring a packed lunch and come prepared for whatever the weather is !
Lets hope its a clear day, great views across to the Arrochar Alps if so.

No special kit required bar maybe a tow-rope if you have one. All types of LR product welcome.

If anyone from Stirling/Falkirk area is going on Sunday and would be willing to pick up a radiator from Shug and bring it back, I'd be most grateful and would collect Sunday/Monday.
