Just wanted to say a huge thank you to Gene and all the other organisers and landowners for allowing us to have a fabulous day.

First time we have taken the laddie and both nieces - they had a ball especially going down the red section, although we decided against the tough red bit as we had them in the 90 with us.  Was great to meet new people, whole day was very relaxed looking forward to the next one.

Was also nice speaking to the guys from Strathclyde 4x4 too.

No problem David, enjoyed it !

43 vehicles, no dramas and two "impassable" tracks successfully navigated by a mix of everything from Series 2A via Freelander and 90s to late model Discos.

A big "Up" to Dave Tomlin for his path-finding effort on "the section"

In the end at least 5 vehicles successfully cleared this route and you can hardly tell we were ever there. Good effort !
If its not broken you are not trying hard enough....

Great day out, thanks. Can't believe I was nominated group leader for our gang of five cars. What is the world coming to when people want to follow me round the forest?!

Fantastic day, thanks again to Alan & Gene. Great turnout.

Always good to get some challenging sections to make it interesting. Good to meet some new people as well. Here's some videos just to prove the D3's weren't shy!

We had a superb day too - thoroughly enjoyed it all. Lots of excitement. Thank you for all the organisation.

Sorting through photos now, will upload to Photobucket asap.

Would love to see the one of me in the D2 going down the muddy hill!

Cheers
