Hey everyone,

Another newby!  Currently living in West Wales, but are about to move to Snowy Scotland, heading for the Fort William area, and can't wait.  So thought I would sign up for a more local club/forum, and hopefully once we get settled, join up!

I am on a few other Landy forums, so might know some of you's already!

The love of my life is my Beast! a 2008 110XS SW

My husband & I own & run a Land Rover related business, and have just bought a new business project, Bertie a 1968 S.lla 109 (which we are now questioning, due to a few tell tale signs!)
We hope to use Bertie at shows as a demo, & probably the first of many business projects! (if Mr LisLandy has his way! lol)

So thats me!  :)

I do have 3 landy-babes though!..............my gorgeous 3 daughters, who are all Landy nuts!

Update.....we will be local as of Thursday 6th of May! Yipee!

We are all very excited (managed to find somewhere with a large workshop in the end) all the packing/organising is a bit daunting lol.....but we are getting there.

Welcome to the club hope you manage the move to Fort William ok in the Beast and that you get settled in, some of us are up in your part of Scotland at the end of this month so we might meet up with you.

Enjoy the forum it is full of banter and plenty of fun comments as well as lots of members willing to help out with advice if and when needed.

Good call Chris, Mel could do with more "stronger sex support" (hope that sounded like it meant to).

If Lis Landy plus the three girls turn up then it might be a fight to see who does the dishes :D :D

I expect an ear bashing for that comment probably deserve it too ;) ;)

Dishes??!! lol.....hows about unpacking instead?!  ;D

We are in, well just about!.....office is up and running.....just the workshop to go!

Bertie didn't make it!.....he got to just North of Glasgow, and then gave up.....mind you, I am impressed he made it that far! lol
Thank goodness for the AA, who bought him back the following day. 
It was a bit of a squash in mine, after we left him.....as mine was loaded up to the brim, then had to fit in husband, 2 kids, a very large lab & a very large malamute, it was fun to say the least!! lol  :o
