Havn't heard any reports. But you can always be our guinea pig! :)

VCU check - i came across this somewhere. (might even have been here)
A basic check for VCU, jack up one wheel, put an 18" bar through rear prop UJ near diff, you should be able to turn prop slowly, even good VCU's are pretty stiff, if you cant turn it its locked up and needs reconditioned.

Same test as a RRC. Loose surface, turn on full lock at low speed. If the inside wheel is scarting and scraping then something is wrong.
May also find the same test on a hard surface will make in the wheel scrub.
