what did you go for in the end, a lot seem to do central locking and remote start, not a lot of point in those really.

i always though all landies had a built in anti-theft device, known as 'breakdown' when even the rightfull owner cant get it started 

If it's a petrol V8 it won't make it past the first Fuel Station anyway!
