Unfortunatly a change in employment and a need to move house means my 90 project has to go.
It's a 1990 H reg 2.5td on a new galv chassis.
Exterior: Repainted in green, new rear door and repaired front doors. It comes with two sets of wheels and tyres (BFG Muds on standard rims plus a set of massive mud tyres on steel modulars from a previous project, about ?500 on thier own!) Brand new stainless steel fixings for doors etc. Bulkhead in good condition bar a bodged footwell repair by previous owner.
Interior: Seats replaced with reclining bucket seats which are very comfortable, it has a cd radio and 4 good speakers fitted, rubber mats which absorb a lot of sound. Comes with a dog guard which isn't fitted but is complete.
Mechanically: Running gear is good, synchro between 3rd and 2nd is beginning to wear but still very use-able. The engine has done 92000 miles but is smoking due to piston wear. I was planning on replacing it with a 200tdi but it still runs and had passed an MOT before it got stripped. It has a large new battery fitted. Engine has new water pump, all belts including timing belt have been replaced along with a full service.
Probably forgotten a lot of the work I've done but that's it for now.
Jobs to finish: Piece doors back together and fit, plus refitting a few bits of interior trim.
The 90 will need to be trailered away as obviously no MOT or Tax.
I'm looking for ?2500 ono (it owes a lot more but so often is the case with rebuilds)
